Bianca Gill, LMSW
I have experience working in a variety of social work settings including drug and alcohol treatment, homeless populations, and a pregnancy resource center.  My passion is for helping mothers through  pregnancy and the postpartum period, in particular the "4th trimester" which can be a very stressful time.  I also provide counseling for those wanting to learn new coping skills for anxiety and depression.

I have a passion for helping people find hope and healing.  Our world is often a bleak place, full of misery and suffering, but it is also one of beauty and wonder.  My goal as a therapist is to help people find the beauty and hope around them and to be able to see that there is more than the current circumstances they find themselves in.

My clinical approach is primarily rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).  I incorporate elements from a variety of other methods but have a strong focus on attachment issues and their understanding in order to heal family and relationship wounds.  I am also trained in and practice under the Trauma Informed Care approach.

I enjoy working with teens, young adults, families and parents. My experience includes working in community mental health serving low income populations, home and community based services as well as working in a ministry setting as a Middle School and High School Minister prior to my work as a Therapist. I have experience in helping others in working on self esteem, depression, anxiety, anger, self worth, independent living skills, and communication and want to help others grow into the best version of themselves. My approach is focused on utilizing a variety of modalities in my sessions as well as trained in Motivational Interviewing, Collaborative Problem Solving, and Multisystemic Therapy.  I also incorporate art and other hands on activities to help with our sessions.
